Governance and Leadership

Mougins British International School is committed to transparent leadership and excellence in education. Our school is certified by the French Ministry of National Education and accredited by COBIS, the Council of British International Schools and the ISI, the Independent Schools Inspectorate, both of whom conduct regular inspections in order to ensure that we maintain the highest standards in all that we do.

Under the umbrella group of Globeducate, the school’s Senior Leadership Team supports every member of staff to achieve their goals. We encourage a rigorous self evaluative approach, where each team member strives for self improvement. Additionally all members of staff put the students' needs at the centre of what they do. Globeducate’s Directorate of Education works with the school to ensure standards of teaching and learning are being continually challenged in order to achieve the very best for our students.

Social commitment

Along with achieving their academic goals, it is our hope that every one of our students becomes a socially aware individual. We encourage all students to dedicate time and effort to care for the world around them, spending plenty of time outdoors in our ‘school in the woods’ and taking part in projects dedicated to social responsibility. Our partnerships with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Eco-Schools, initiatives that coincide with our educational values and core principles, help to educate our students in the broadest sense of the word.
