Every Friday morning, Primary students at Mougins British International School come together for a special assembly to celebrate achievements, share experiences, and foster a strong sense of community. However, this week’s assembly was unlike any other—it was transformed into an inspiring and entertaining Talent Show, where students had the opportunity to showcase their incredible skills in front of their peers!

From music to magic, dance to drama, the stage was filled with exceptional performances. The audience was captivated as Jo and Marley Jo delivered powerful drum solos, Cheng Cheng and Louisa enchanted with their violin performances, and Nicole, Angelina, Kseniia, Sofiia K., and Nikol mesmerized everyone with their piano pieces. Savelii’s flute performance stood out, earning him the award for Best Musical Performance.

The singers brought energy and emotion to the show, with Maggie delivering a breathtaking rendition of Dandelions by Ruth B., while Sofia and Eva & Sophia got the whole crowd singing along to their heartfelt performances. The group of Emma, Elizaveta and Heloïse had the entire audience, including our youngest Launchpad students, singing along to APT. by Bruno Mars and Rosé. Maria and Melinda impressed with a beautiful duet of All of Me by John Legend, and Damiana, Luliia, Lucy, and Rebecca delivered a powerful performance of Roar by Katy Perry.

Dancers brought dynamic energy to the stage, with Marta & Kaia performing a fun routine to Dance Monkey, while Maya wowed everyone with her hip-hop skills. Maya’s confident and expressive dance routine earned her the award for Best Stage Presence.

One of the most astonishing performances came from Adriana, whose magic tricks left everyone speechless. She made a €5 note float in the air, moved coins from one glass to another with no explanation, and even pierced a banknote with a pen without leaving a hole! Her creativity and stage presence earned her the Most Creative Act award.

To top it all off, the teachers surprised the students bjoey opening the show with a heartwarming performance of Belong Together by Mark Ambor. Jenna, Carys, Dulcie, Paul, Matt, and Florian took to the stage, setting the perfect tone for the event.

In the end, the Overall Winner of the Talent Show was Sofia T, whose breathtaking singing performance moved the audience and judges alike.

This Talent Show was a celebration of bravery, creativity, and self-expression. At Mougins British International School, we encourage our students to embrace their passions, step outside their comfort zones, and support one another in their journey of growth and discovery. It was truly inspiring to see our Primary students cheering each other on, showing kindness, and making unforgettable memories together.
