Celebrating the Class of 2026: A World of Opportunities Begins
Julie Dufaye

At Mougins School, the end of Sixth Form is never simply about university offers. It is about young people discovering who they are, defining their ambitions, and taking confident steps towards a future that reflects their individual passions.

This year's graduating class is a remarkable reflection of that philosophy. From engineering in Switzerland to fashion in Milan, psychology in Canada, law in London, film production in Australia and entrepreneurship in Boston, every student has followed a pathway that is uniquely their own.

Their destinations span more than a dozen countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Monaco, Canada, the United States, Australia and Singapore. Together, they demonstrate the truly international outlook that defines a Mougins School education. Please note that these destinations represent each student's first-choice university, with places confirmed subject to achieving the required A Level results.

Every Student, Their Own Story

There is no single definition of success at Mougins School.

Some students will be joining world-leading universities such as University College London, the London School of Economics, King's College London, Durham University, ETH Zurich, Bocconi University, McGill University, Boston University and the University of Toronto. Others have chosen specialist institutions in areas such as fashion, design, business, communications and engineering.

Several students have decided to take a gap year, using the opportunity to travel, gain professional experience or dedicate time to personal projects, including writing a novel. Others will begin internships in medicine, finance and the non-profit sector before continuing their academic journeys.

Whether pursuing Politics at Sciences Po, Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Interior Design at Parsons School of Design, International Business at the University of Edinburgh or Liberal Arts in the Netherlands, each destination reflects careful consideration of individual talents, aspirations and future goals.

This diversity is something we celebrate. We encourage students not to follow the same path, but to find the right path.

Personalised Guidance Every Step of the Way

Behind every university offer is a journey of reflection, discussion and careful planning.

One of the defining strengths of the Mougins School Sixth Form experience is the exceptional level of individual support provided throughout Years 12 and 13. University guidance is not treated as a series of appointments during the final year, but as a carefully structured two-year process that evolves alongside each student's academic and personal development.

Our tutors, together with Laura Kellie, Head of Sixth Form, work closely with students to develop a deep understanding of their strengths, interests and ambitions. Through regular one-to-one conversations, students are encouraged to explore possibilities, challenge themselves and make informed decisions about their futures.

As applications approach, support becomes increasingly personalised. Students receive expert guidance on selecting universities and courses across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and beyond. They are supported through every aspect of the application process, including personal statements, essays, interviews, admissions tests, references and strategic planning around deadlines and offers.

This long-term, individual approach allows every student to present the strongest possible application while remaining authentic to who they are.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026, we are reminded that success is not measured by a single destination, but by finding a future that inspires confidence, curiosity and purpose.

Every offer represents years of dedication, resilience and growth. Every destination tells a different story. Every student leaves Mougins School with their own ambitions, their own voice and their own definition of success.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to following the exciting journeys that lie ahead.

Congratulations to the Mougins School Sixth Form Class of 2026. The world is waiting.
