At Mougins British International School, sport is more than just a game—it’s a cornerstone of our students' development, fostering teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. Football, in particular, has become a driving force of our inter-school success, with both our boys’ and girls’ teams excelling on the pitch. This week, our incredible U11 girls' football team proved once again that Mougins School is a powerhouse in school sports, bringing home yet another championship cup!

Our girls' football team has done it again! With an incredible display of skill, teamwork, and determination, they have secured yet another championship, bringing home the cup and making the entire Mougins School community proud.

The U11 football tournament was a thrilling event filled with high-energy matches, outstanding performances, and sportsmanship. Our girls' team dominated their first two games, winning 4-0 and 3-0, before drawing 1-1 in a tense final match against ISNice. Thanks to an impressive goal difference, they emerged as the ultimate champions! 🏆🥳

But they weren’t the only ones to shine—our boys' teams also delivered remarkable performances. Team A finished in a close second place, winning all their matches except one against ISMonaco, the eventual winners. They fought hard, and with just a little more luck, could have taken the title. Team B may have placed 7th, but their resilience and ability to hold ISNice B to a 1-1 draw demonstrated their potential and growing strength.

In addition, five of our Mougins School girls contributed to the ICS Côte d'Azur team, which secured a fantastic 3rd place finish, defeating ISNice B 1-0 in their final match.
