Winter celebrations in the Primary School
Christine Bearman
As we move into the winter season, the primary school has become a vibrant center of excitement, creativity, and learning. It’s a time of year when we celebrate the magic of the season through a variety of activities, showcasing diverse traditions, fostering a sense of community, and creating lasting memories for children.
Our main focus during this term has been preparing the children for our Winter Concerts; This year we will be showcasing two amazing plays that highlight both the creativity and hard work of our students. Each play delivers a unique message, combining entertainment with important life lessons.
We are thrilled to present "Eddie the Penguin," a delightful story about environmental awareness, and "A Winter Wonderland of Kindness" a heartwarming tale of kindness and community. The children have poured their energy, enthusiasm, and talent into these productions, and we can’t wait for you to see their efforts come to life on stage.
Thank you for supporting their journey and joining us in celebrating this magical time of year!
The LaunchPad and KS1
Our youngest children have all been working hard on a production of “Eddie the Penguin”.
Eddie the penguin discovers that the world he lives in is changing and that the ice is melting. He decides to take his family to the North Pole to find a new home, where he meets Peggy Polar Bear and discovers that human beings are causing the ice to melt. Eddie goes on a mission to save the planet and let the world know how they can change things for the better.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work and enthusiasm the children have shown in bringing "Eddie the Penguin" to life. This delightful and meaningful production not only showcases their talent and teamwork but also carries an important message about protecting our planet.
Get ready to be entertained and inspired as Eddie and his friends remind us all of the little changes we can make to ensure a brighter, more sustainable future. Thank you for joining us to celebrate the children’s creativity and commitment to such an important cause. Enjoy the show!
Due to space restrictions, we will have two performances during the day of Monday 16th December.

KS2
Our Oldest children have all been working hard on a production of “A Winter Wonderland of Kindness”
In a small, festive village, everyone is busy preparing for Christmas Eve. However, the villagers have become self-centred and are neglecting kindness, respect, and helping one another. Jack and Holly, two children, lead the way in reminding the villagers of the true meaning of Christmas. With their help, the village rediscovers the importance of being kind and respectful, and the Christmas Eve festival becomes a joyful success.
We are so excited to share the heartwarming story of our production, "A Winter Wonderland of Kindness." Set in a festive village full of holiday hustle and bustle, this play follows Jack and Holly as they inspire their neighbors to embrace kindness, respect, and community spirit.
Through their determination and compassion, the children remind everyone of what truly matters during the holiday season. This uplifting tale, brought to life by our talented young performers, is sure to leave you filled with festive joy and hope. Thank you for being here to celebrate their hard work. Enjoy the show!
Due to space restrictions, we will have two performances during the day of Tuesday 17th December.
