Music at Mougins School
At Mougins School music forms an important part of daily life. Music classes and appreciation begins in our Nursery Class, and from the age of four, children can choose to take private lessons in a particular instrument.
Our music department is led by professional musician Faye Gossedge who combines a love of music with her wide professional experience to every lesson. Faye is joined by Dulcie Kellner, who has a wealth of musical and teaching experience internationally.
The music programme at Mougins School
The school has three different choirs and two music ensembles that students can join depending on their year group.
As well as having two full time music teachers, Mougins school welcomes a team of excellent visiting tutors, teaching both vocal and instrumental lessons. During the academic year, they keep their students motivated through external music examination programmes such as the well-respected ABRSM music grades and examinations with the School of Rock as well as LAMDA voice and music exams.
