These past couple of weeks have been full of artistic performances in Secondary! In May, students went to Mouans Sartoux to perform in a concert organised in the town. Last Friday, June 3rd, Mougins School hosted its annual Summer Concert. Students were delighted to finally have an audience for the first time this academic year. Year 10 Drama students also put on a sensational evening Wednesday 8th June to raise money for the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis fund.

The Summer Concert showcased students in many musical disciplines including our Senior Choir, guitarists, drummers, singers, pianists, and bass players. The concert was held outside on the school ground and welcomed a huge crowd with the PTA and the Juice Box proposing refreshments. With the money raised from ticket sales, Mougins School will be purchasing new keyboards for the Primary Music Department.

The Year 10 drama student put on a sensational evening Wednesday 8th June to raise money for the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis fund. Hilarious and dramatic short clips from plays were acted by the students in their very first live performance!

Between Mouthfuls by Alan Ayckbourn was performed by Rianne Asfour, Petr Vinograd, Gabiya Umikaite, Niklas Joergensen, and Skye Sabet.

Mother figure by Alan Ayckbourn was performed by Mahala de Santana Santos Todd, Grace Edgar and John Perkins.

Crossfire by Michael Azama was performed by Loic San Jose, Jaydon bridge and Melissa Thompson.

Special performances were put on by Chloe Puchert and Eleonore Tete which ended the evening.

Students, teachers and parents packed the hall out to support the students which was a spectacle extraordinaire!

We want to congratulate all the performers of the Mouans Sartoux Concert, the Summer Concert and the Drama Evening for all their hard work!

We are looking forward to the Piano Recital, our next event, which will take place on 17 June at 4:30 in the Performing Arts Building! Come join us!
