At Mougins School, sport is more than just physical activity; it’s a celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and community. Our Secondary students play a vital role in carrying this spirit forward, with events that foster camaraderie and showcase their talents on and off the field.

Inter-House Basketball: A Thrilling Start to Senior Sport

Inter-House Basketball at Mougins School

On Thursday, September 26th, our first Senior Inter-House Basketball Match set the tone for an exciting year of sports. Students from all four houses, Picasso, Chagall, Matisse, and Renoir, came together in a thrilling competition. Each game was filled with fast-paced action, impressive plays, and incredible teamwork.

The green team, Renoir, and the yellow team, Chagall, emerged victorious in their initial matches, setting the stage for a nail-biting final. Both teams played with determination and skill, but Renoir managed to clinch the win with four decisive points in the last two minutes. Congratulations to Renoir for their outstanding performance!

This event was more than just a game; it highlighted the unity and enthusiasm that sports bring to our community. A special thank you goes to the House Captains, whose leadership and encouragement ensured a high level of participation and sportsmanship.

Secondary Sports Day: A Full Day of Athletic Excellence

Sports Day Mougins School

On Friday, November 8th, our students took to the Mandelieu Stadium for the much-anticipated Secondary Sports Day. The atmosphere was electric as all four houses, Picasso, Chagall, Matisse, and Renoir, competed in a wide range of events throughout the day. From sprints and long-distance runs to high jumps and relay races, every student had the opportunity to shine and contribute to their house’s score.

The competition was fierce, but it was Renoir who ultimately claimed victory, showcasing their exceptional athleticism and team spirit. However, the true winners were all the students who participated, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a commitment to supporting one another.
