- NOTICE BOARD
As every week, find our information thanks to this notice board
This week the prefecture of the Alpes Maritimes has again extended the compulsory wearing of masks inside and in some outside spaces within the department until 1/12/21. It is likely that this will continue long after this time. Along with the extension are some new guidelines that apply directly to us at Mougins School.
'The wearing of masks is mandatory within a perimeter of 50 meters around the entrances of nurseries, schools, colleges, and high schools within 15 minutes before and after the opening and 15 minutes before and after closing of these institutions'.
For details please see link here
The current trend of Covid-19 infections is again on the rise. Unfortunately this has been evident across all schools within our region. We would therefore ask that to ensure we comply with government guidelines masks are worn in the car park at pick up and drop off.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Alison Vibert.
Term 1 Student Report
This year, the school has changed management systems from Schoolbase to iSAMs. This means that you will no longer log on to Schoolbase to receive the student reports.
At the end of the school day on Wednesday 24th November, you will receive an email from iSAMs with your username and a temporary password that will take you to the new iSAMs Parent Portal. It will also include instructions on what you can view on iSAMs and how to access your child’s report.
If you believe that the school may have an incorrect email address, please contact Yash MEHRA email@example.com immediately, otherwise you will not be able to access your child’s report.
If you come across any problems in this process, please email Nigel WRIGHT firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parent-teacher Flexi Conferences
Following the release of the reports, parents will have the opportunity to have reflective conversations with their child’s teachers. These are a vital part of the reporting process.

Raffle tickets to support ByGrace Children
Over the last few weeks Year 8 have been busy bees collecting raffle prizes, selling tickets during break times and finally, distributing prizes to winners following the draw!
We sold out of raffle tickets last week and had to make hundreds more as they were in such high demand!
James W in year 7 took home a record number of prizes after purchasing a rather large number of tickets and Mrs Guy was thrilled with her 150 euro Sephora gift voucher. There were lots of happy winners!
Thank you again for all the generous donations that people made.
Since the start of term, we have now raised over 1000 euros to support ByGrace Children’s Home and Academy in Nairobi, Kenya.
This week Year 8 also received letters from their pen pals at ByGrace. It was an exciting moment that we have been patiently waiting for since sending off letters at the start of term.
If you are interested in running a THRIVE session next term, we would love to hear your proposal! Please take the time to fill out the following form. Some possible suggestions that would be well received are:
- Website design
- Computer Programming
