The Learning Curve

It's that time of year again—back to school!  Here at Mougins School, we have a special tradition where we invite all our new members to introduce themselves in our 'People of Mougins' section in our weekly newsletter, 'The Learning Curve.' Today, we're thrilled to introduce you to Florian Comparato, our new IT specialist. Whether he's assisting with your laptop or guiding you through our digital learning programme, Florian is always ready to help with a warm smile. We're delighted to welcome him to our team!

Tell us about yourself

Hey there, I'm Florian, a proud father of two who's deeply passionate about technology and photography. My previous job involved assisting people at a public library in embracing digital devices and introducing them to the latest technologies. Additionally, I'm an avid guitar player, and this year, I'm diving into the world of drumming as well.

Tell us about your greatest achievement

My proudest accomplishment this year has been becoming a part of Mougins School. I've had a strong desire to engage with and assist the people here, whether it's through teaching, helping, or simply enjoying time together.

What has been your steepest learning curve?

I would say that my most significant learning curve has been my transition from a post-production manager for TV shows to an IT and digital manager since 2019. It was quite a challenge, but I've been growing and adapting to the new role.

Mougins School is a great place because…

I really like this school; it's right in the middle of a calm forest, and it's a great place to learn something new every day, thanks to all the different people from around the world.
