Sports Day: Blue Brings The Houses Down

From the start of Sports Day, each team had its winners and losers between the four powers in place: Picasso, Renoir, Chagall and Matisse. But by the end of the day, it became quite clear that the Blue house won a very decisive victory, knocking the Red house off a strong two-year winning streak.

In second place came the Yellow house as the runners ups, followed by the notorious Picasso Red House in third place and in final place the extremely recognisable Green house. All houses had a mixture of very sporty competitors and an obvious majority who saw Sports Day as an opportunity to not go to school.

As the day ended, the Blue team went home to a place of celebration and pride, while all the other houses walked away in shame over their crushing failures.

Putting that aside, this year’s Sports Day was a stark example of stamina, persistence, and the most important part of sports, chatting with friends while watching other people play sports.
